Job Title: Secondary PE Teacher for Maternity Cover Contract

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified PE teacher to join our team at a Catholic secondary school in West Bristol. The successful candidate will be required to teach PE on a full-time basis, with marking and planning responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach PE to students in a Catholic secondary school setting

* Mark and plan lessons to ensure high-quality teaching and learning

* Work collaboratively with the school team to achieve school aims

* Possess good communication skills and be able to engage with the head of department and other members of SLT

* Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one

Requirements:

* UK QTS in secondary education

* Specialism in PE (ideally)

* Ability to get full participation from students and create an inclusive and positive learning environment

* Good level of skill in behaviour management and ability to follow school policies
