Job Description
As an Electrical Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing electrical equipment, conducting site surveys, and managing projects. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, work with a talented team, and support the UK's energy shift.

Key Responsibilities
* Install low-voltage equipment, ensuring quality and reliability.
* Conduct on-site surveys to determine optimal installation methods, producing detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
* Develop risk assessments and method statements for work packages, promoting safe and effective practices.
* Supervise and mentor apprentices or junior engineers, ensuring their safety, standards, and professional growth.
* Manage multiple projects, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
* Act as the Competent Person, strictly adhering to Electrical Safety Rules and compliance.
* Collaborate with software engineers to verify I/O functionality, ensuring all components operate as intended.
* Provide regular progress updates to the construction manager, addressing concerns, identifying issues, and exploring project opportunities.

Requirements
* Over 5 years of electrical experience in a medium to large organisation, with a solid technical foundation.
* Valid UK driver's licence for travel to project sites.
* Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills for efficient task execution.
* Proficient in MS Word and Excel for accurate reporting and documentation.
* Comprehensive knowledge of electrical installations and control systems, including control panels, MCCs, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent certification.
* BS7671 18th Edition – Requirements for electrical installations.
* Knowledge of BS EN (Power Switchgear and Control Gear Assemblies).
* Understanding of BS EN 60947 (Low-voltage Switchgear and Control Gear).
