About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Central Referral Unit Co-ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Adult Health Improvement Central Access Team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling inbound and outbound calls, and ensuring seamless referrals to appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls from members of the public and healthcare professionals
  • Provide accurate information and advice to clients
  • Educate callers about available services and resources
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in IT packages, including Microsoft Office

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
