This, coupled with distribution capabilities working with some leading brands in the Industry, makes for an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for spearheading the company's sales initiatives, working with OEMs, End Users, and Distribution, managing existing accounts and developing new business.
Responsibilities
- Developing, maintaining, and strengthening an existing portfolio of customer accounts along with driving new business development.
- Developing and executing growth strategies for both existing accounts as well as new prospective customers.
- Making regular sales calls to pursue and discuss opportunities, providing training and other technical support, and increasing overall mind share.
- Timely and accurate utilization of our CRM systems.
- Developing and maintaining short, mid, and long-term sales plans.
- Communicating high-value sales activity to contribute to effective product and service planning.
- Providing top-quality customer service for all clients and prospects.
About You
- HNC/HND/ONC/BTEC/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- 5-10 years of progressive sales/key account/business development experience or equivalent industry knowledge gained in the Industrial Engineering industry.
- Experience in selling Power Transmission products or Mechanical Components is highly preferred.
- Experience in some or all of the following industries – Material Handling, Bulk Handling, Waste & Recycling, Agriculture, Mining, and Quarrying.
- CRM experience is preferred.
- Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
