Company Overview:
We are working with a highly respected and forward-thinking GP Training practice based in the South West. This well-established practice benefits from a sizeable multi-disciplinary team, including nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and paramedics, as well as a new care model that replaces the Duty Doctor set-up with a more streamlined team-based approach.
The practice has invested in a Remote GP who assists the GP team with phone calls and admin work. We have worked with this practice for many years, receiving excellent feedback from both the Salaried GPs we've recruited and a GP Partner who now leads on recruitment.
Salary: £11,872 per session
Job Description:
This salaried GP role offers a manageable, well-structured workload and the opportunity to develop specialisms. The practice is a GP Training & Teaching facility with very attractive, purpose-built premises. The team consists of varied and forward-thinking Partners who encourage interests and development.
The role involves working 4-6 or more sessions, managing an acute care team (regular clinic seeing on-the-day patients), and participating in an education afternoon once every six weeks. You will be supported by Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, and Prescribing Pharmacists, as well as having access to the EMIS Web Clinical System.
