Senior Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our East Midlands team. As a key member of our Quantity Surveying department, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective cash management and careful administration of subcontractor accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry. They will also have strong commercial skills to maximise value recovery, cost control, and cash management, as well as the ability to prepare and understand financial reports and utilise COINS.
The salary for this role is £64,000, which is in line with industry standards for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the East Midlands. Benefits include 26 days' holiday, life assurance, pension, private medical insurance, and access to a discount portal.
Responsibilities:
- Financial cost control and reporting of developments from award to completion
- Supervising and training Assistant and Trainee Surveyors
- Setting targets and allocating duties while maintaining quality
