Project Manager Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to manage Escalator installation projects, being responsible for cooperation with customers, internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be overseeing and monitoring the execution of the installation project. You will work with your colleagues in the installation team, to ensure productivity gains and qualitive outcomes
  • You will be in direct contact with our clients. You are their main point-of-contact for their questions and concerns
  • You will review project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • You will establish a work plan and staffing for each phase of project
  • You oversee the planning of delivery and storage of materials to the site(s)
  • You coordinate the activities of the project team to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
  • You aim to be an energizing leader who gets the best of others and strives to exceed customer expectations
Requirements:
  • Strong Project Management skills (the size and complexities of these projects require someone with previous experience as a Project Manager)
  • You have preferably worked in the lift or escalator industry before. Experience in Project Management in the wider construction industry would be considered as well.
  • Demonstrated experience within a commercial environment, managing projects at a site level
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Planning and Analytical skills
  • Strong organisation skills that allow you to coordinate complex projects
