h3>Workshop Controller Opportunity in Leicester Area/p>h3>Salary: £35k basic, £43k OTE (achievable), with a £5k year-end stretch bonus./h3>p>As a skilled and experienced Automotive professional, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop in the Leicester area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motor trade management and be able to lead a team to achieve excellent results./p>h3>Key Responsibilities:/h3>ol>li>Manage the workshop's daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources./li>li>Lead a team of technicians and support staff to achieve high-quality work and excellent customer service./li>li>Develop and implement strategies to improve workshop efficiency, productivity, and profitability./li>li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination./li>li>Monitor and control costs, ensuring the workshop operates within budget./li>li>Identify and implement opportunities for growth and development./li>li>Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards./li>li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders./li>li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies./li>li>Contribute to the development of the workshop's business plan and strategy./li>li>Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure workshop performance./li>li>Identify and address any operational issues or concerns./li>li>Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge./li>li>Ensure the workshop is a safe and healthy working environment./li>li>Manage and maintain accurate records and reports./li>li>Perform other duties as required./li>ol>p>h3>Requirements:/h3>ul>li>Proven experience in motor trade management, preferably in a similar role./li>li>Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team./li>li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders./li>li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues./li>li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines./li>li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously./li>li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach./li>li>Strong knowledge of motor trade industry trends, best practices, and new technologies./li>li>Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve workshop efficiency, productivity, and profitability./li>li>Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards./li>li>Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, and to monitor and report on KPIs./li>li>Ability to contribute to the development of the workshop's business plan and strategy./li>li>Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies./li>li>Ability to develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge./li>li>Ability to ensure the workshop is a safe and healthy working environment./li>li>Ability to manage and maintain accurate records and reports./li>li>Ability to perform other duties as required./li>ul>p>h3>What We Offer:/h3>ul>li>A competitive salary and benefits package./li>li>A comprehensive training program to enhance your skills and knowledge./li>li>A supportive and collaborative work environment./li>li>Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth./li>li>A chance to work with a leading motor trade employer in the UK./li>ul>p>h3>How to Apply:/h3>p>If you are a skilled and experienced Automotive professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications./p>
