Overview

Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization is a global team of over 18,000 employees, responsible for delivering end-to-end customer experiences. We're seeking a skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team and help us build a future where customers choose Microsoft not only for our products and services, but also for our unique and connected customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable customers to achieve their outcomes through Microsoft technology, leveraging expertise in Microsoft Azure.
  • Lead technical conversations with customers and Microsoft colleagues to drive value from their Microsoft investments.
  • Accelerate customer adoption by building solutions and resolving issues impeding customer success projects.
  • Drive product influence with Engineering and increase technical intensity in the field.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, and experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or Business Applications consulting.
  • Business Value: Ability to convey business needs and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Trusted Advisership: Ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders.
  • Situational fluency: Using self-awareness to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues.
  • Insightful listening: Asking insightful questions to understand customer needs, issues, business environment, and drivers.
Technical Requirements
  • Breadth of technical experience and knowledge in foundational security, foundational AI, architecture design, with depth/Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following: Enterprise-scale technical experience and depth with one or more areas of the Azure Analytics ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence, design and build of Advanced Analytics and Big Data solutions, hands-on experience with data warehousing, big data, analytics workloads (Azure or equivalent).
  • Experience creating Data & Analytics Proof of Concepts (PoC), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for customers that lead to production deployments.
