Sonography Expert

Sonographers play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of these services.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound scans, reporting examinations, and managing an ultrasound list independently. You will also collaborate with colleagues in Ultrasound, Imaging, and wider Trust where required.

To be successful in this position, you must possess a postgraduate diploma qualification in Ultrasound, including abdominal and gynaecological ultrasound. You should also have demonstrable experience of working as a Sonographer, performing non-obstetric ultrasound scans, and familiarity with common medical imaging techniques, practices, and terminology.
