Bakery Production Assistant Job Description

Our clients in Crediton are seeking a Bakery Production Assistant to join their team in their large commercial bakery. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the bakers in the production of delicious cakes and tray-bakes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weighing ingredients to supply to the bakers.
  • Moving and fetching items around the kitchen to assist the production team.
  • Preparing, portioning, and mixing ingredients to meet production demands.
  • Cleaning the preparation kitchen at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and calculate masses to weigh the correct ingredients.
  • Quick thinking and initiative to respond to production needs.
  • Physical stamina to regularly lift, carry, and weigh out bags of ingredients up to 25kg.
  • Previous food production experience and a drive to commit to a new role with a hardworking company.
