About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Water Supply Process Operator to join our team at Northumbrian Water. As a key member of our Water Supply team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality drinking water to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the treatment process using company systems to identify trends in performance and respond to issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct laboratory testing and record results for regulatory auditing and decision-making purposes.
- Work with chemicals and validate and calibrate instruments to ensure effective operation of the treatment process.
- Support process unit cleaning, site general maintenance, and cleaning tasks, including cleaning tanks to remove waste material.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Water Supply Process Operator who is an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. You will be a good problem-solver, able to respond quickly to issues, understand the problem, and identify the best solution.
Requirements
- Experience operating production processes, including mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and its application in process validation and calibration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Practical, pragmatic, and hands-on problem-solving skills.
