About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Planner to join our team at Petroplan. As a key member of our project control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects by providing expert planning and scheduling support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.
  • Schedule Risk Analysis: Identify and assess potential risks to project schedules, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.
  • Progress Measurement and Reporting: Monitor and report on project progress, including the identification of areas of concern and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Resource Deployment and Validation: Review and validate resource deployment plans, ensuring that they are adequate to meet project completion schedules.
  • Variation Requests and Claims: Evaluate and recommend approval or rejection of variation requests and claims for schedule extensions.
  • Schedule Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Review and ensure timely implementation of schedule risk mitigation measures.
  • Project Control Procedures: Ensure adherence to project control procedures and requirements throughout the project duration.
  • KPIs and Performance Metrics: Identify and establish KPIs for ongoing projects, and maintain close follow-up with project managers to ensure achievement of KPIs.
  • Progress Reporting and Presentations: Prepare monthly progress reports and detailed write-ups/presentations for meetings.
  • Annual Budgets and Schedule Variations: Provide necessary inputs to the PCM, Cost Control, and Change Team for the preparation of annual budgets and justification for schedule variations.
