Job Title: Kitchen Fitter/Welder

Location: Rugby

Pay Rate: £14.50-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Fitter/Welder with TIG welding expertise to work with our team in Rugby. This role involves installing and fitting stainless steel kitchen units and work surfaces to the highest standards of quality and precision. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexible hours and travel for projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and fit stainless steel kitchen units, worktops, and appliances according to client specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble kitchen components with accuracy.
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel to complete precise, high-quality installations.
  • Ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret kitchen plans and technical drawings.
  • Use hand and power tools effectively to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and provide solutions to maintain installation schedules.

Requirements:
  • Experience in stainless steel kitchen fitting or similar metal fabrication roles.
  • Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in construction and fitting.
  • Strong attention to detail with high precision in fitting, welding, and assembly work.
  • Ability to work away from home and adapt to varied working hours.
  • Reliable, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
