About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team at a renowned leisure and hospitality group. As a key member of our data team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate and centralise data from various systems used across 19 locations into one streamlined reporting framework.
  • Clean, enhance, and prepare datasets using Python and SQL in a centralised database.
  • Develop automated data pipelines to maintain data accuracy and ensure seamless reporting.
  • Analyse data to extract actionable insights and identify trends to guide decision-making at both the local and organisational levels.
  • Design interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, providing valuable insights to teams ranging from operations to finance.
  • Work closely with finance teams, site managers, and key stakeholders to understand their unique data needs and deliver customised reporting solutions.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support the organisation's strategic growth and ambitious expansion goals.
  • Collaborate with an international data team to ensure best practices are shared and implemented globally.
Requirements
  • A data enthusiast with 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis or data science role.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and advanced analysis.
  • Strong experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a sharp analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • A solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including experience in data modelling and visualisation best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics) is highly desirable.
