Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Key Stage 1 students
  • Monitor and record students' progress to ensure effective learning outcomes
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with SEN
Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or evening work required for events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
