Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in compliance with all road traffic laws and regulations.
  • Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.
  • Perform vehicle checks before and after each journey to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods, using appropriate equipment when necessary.
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents or delays to management immediately.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (category C) driving license.
  • Driver CPC (certification of professional competence) qualification.
  • Digital tachograph card.
  • Good knowledge of traffic laws.

Working Hours:

A minimum of 8 hours a day, which could vary.

Salary:

£15.00 per hour.

Temp to Perm Opportunity:

This is a temp to perm opportunity with a 12 week temp period.

Must Have:

2 years experience for insurance purposes.
