Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Commercial Property Team in Huddersfield. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to our Fee Earners and contribute to the smooth operation of the department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Correspond with clients and third parties to ensure effective communication and timely responses.
  • Request and process Searches, AML Checks, and Land Registry applications.
  • Manage digital dictation and case management systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Prepare and submit searched and Land Registry applications.
  • Handle incoming emails, post, and telephone calls, responding to correspondence as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the firm's ethos, values, and strategy.
  • Strong keyboard skills and basic knowledge of legal letters.
  • Ability to assimilate information from files and clients.
  • Extremely organized with a strong focus on self-management and prioritization.
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a target-driven team.
