Assistant Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at The Dusty Miller, a friendly and independent village pub group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head Chef and General Manager to drive business growth and development.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Take charge of the site in the absence of the General Manager, making key decisions to ensure customer satisfaction and team performance.
  • Manage stock and cash control, ordering and stock taking, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Identify opportunities to drive sales and implement effective strategies to achieve targets.
  • Manage functions and events, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and team engagement.

Requirements:

  • Friendly and confident, with excellent communication skills.
  • Motivated to ensure the smooth running of shifts and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry, with a desire to learn and grow with the company.
