Ophthalmic Theatre Lead Nurse Position

Daytime Healthcare Recruitment Limited is assisting a national ophthalmology group in recruiting a Senior Scrub Nurse. While experience in ophthalmology is advantageous, it is not essential for this role.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide senior scrub expertise to support the efficient operation of the day-to-day ophthalmic theatre activities. This includes ensuring the safe and effective flow of the theatre pathway.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent care to patients, with specific responsibility for theatres and patient flow through the department.
- Ensure high-quality, cost-effective care that prioritizes patient needs at all times.
This role involves an on-call commitment. The working hours are from Tuesday to Thursday, approximately between 8am and 6pm, with some flexibility. The position also offers an excellent modern working environment and opportunities for career progression.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must have significant experience as a Scrub Nurse.
CompensationWe estimate the salary for this role to be around £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
