About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Senior Analyst to join our team at Leeds Building Society. As a key member of our Credit Risk function, you'll play a vital role in helping us to put home ownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse the key drivers of movements within our arrears portfolio to support operational activity and strategy delivery.
  • Produce and continuously improve our existing MI reporting suite, highlighting emerging trends and providing recommendations to mitigate risks and optimise opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to explain complex principles to non-technical colleagues in order to understand and shape business processes.
  • Act as a role model within the team, providing support and guidance to Credit Risk analysts to enable their development.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in an analytical role, including the use of SAS/SQL or similar analytical tools.
  • Ability to competently analyse complex sets of data and produce reports and recommendations for the senior management team and governance committees.
  • Previous experience of financial services is desirable - experience of working in a Credit Risk role within secured lending and/or a Collections function would be highly advantageous.
