Apprentice Lifting Engineer

Job Summary
Speedy Services is seeking a skilled and ambitious Apprentice Lifting Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our depot operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment is always available for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in our structured three-year training program, gaining hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in lifting and rigging techniques.
- Work closely with experienced colleagues to develop your skills and expertise.
- Attend block placements at our college provider to further enhance your knowledge and qualifications.
- Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
Requirements:
- A minimum of GCSE Grade 4/Grade C or above in English and Mathematics or Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English.
- A natural interest in machinery, mechanics, and electrics.
- Comfortable working at height and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
