Electrical Engineering Project Lead

Matchtech Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Lead to join our team in Hampshire, UK. As a key member of our Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical engineering projects, including design, development, and implementation.
  • Manage project teams, including electrical engineers, designers, and technicians.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and procedures.
  • Ensure safety is a priority in all design activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of power generation, distribution, and transmission.
  • Proficiency in power system studies and equipment specification.
  • Familiarity with IEC standards and electrical best practices.
  • Experience with ETAP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong English communication skills; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Relevant professional membership; Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
