About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Insight Analyst to join our Data, Research and Insight hub at the General Medical Council. The successful candidate will work primarily with data generated through our registration and revalidation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and interpret information from a range of sources, including data generated through our registration and revalidation processes.
  • Produce and quality assure regular reporting and respond to a wide range of ad hoc queries.
  • Work with colleagues across multiple directorates and with our experienced team of data analysts, statistical experts, researchers, and report writers to ensure the information we produce is relevant, robust, and accurate.
  • Support the GMC to effectively manage and monitor registration and revalidation and contribute to other business areas to ensure a fair and inclusive experience for practitioners and patients.
Requirements
  • Active interest in data analysis and a keen attention to detail.
  • Appreciation of how effective data and reporting can make a positive impact on decision-making.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Power BI.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
