About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Burrows, a purpose-built supported living service in Droitwich Spa. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to individuals with autism, enabling them to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individual support plans to ensure a person-centered approach
  • Provide and facilitate meaningful activities that cater to the individual's interests and aspirations
  • Offer consistent and proactive support to individuals when behaviors of concern arise, in line with Autism West Midlands' ethos and training
  • Maintain accurate records of progress towards agreed goals for the individuals you support
  • Respect the individuals' autonomy and provide support in their own homes
Requirements
  • A person-centered approach and understanding of individuals' needs and ambitions
  • Ability to work flexibly and adopt a creative approach to supporting individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and commitment to providing high-quality support
  • Ability to work on a rota basis, including alternative weekends
