Job Title: Transport Team Leader
Job Summary:
Fresh Direct is seeking a highly skilled Transport Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Transport Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing drivers' rotas, ensuring efficient route planning, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage drivers' rotas and ensure efficient route planning
- Maintain accurate records of transport operations, including Tachographs and systems
- Deploy vehicles and drivers to meet business needs
- Ensure daily transport paperwork is completed correctly and error-free
- Work closely with the Distribution Manager to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience in a transport environment
- Knowledge of the Working Time Directive
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
