Leggwork Construction Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a high-end refurbishment project in the Cotswolds. This is a temp/perm/freelance role with a rate of pay £250-£270 per day, offering 12 months' duration.
About the RoleWe require a skilled individual with advanced background in high-end restorations and refurbishments in the residential sector. As Site Manager, you will oversee the team and ensure tasks are on track with deadlines. You will also liaise with higher management regarding ordering materials, motivate the team, and keep morale high.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilising your experience and knowledge to help solve minor issues on site;
- Reading and correctly interpreting drawings and plans to communicate a clear plan to tradespeople and subcontractors;
- Clearly explaining tasks and instructions to other team members;
- Maintaining a good attitude and being reliable and hard-working;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A healthy amount of experience in site management roles;
- A broad understanding of various roles on site;
- An up-to-date and well-organised CV;
- Two recent work references;
- NVQs and relevant qualifications within this field (desirable);
- A reliable plan to commute to work;
- Availability for an interview within a month;
- SSSTS or SMSTS Ticket;
