About the Role:

Plumstead Manor School is a vibrant and inclusive school with over 70 languages spoken across our community. We are seeking a Bilingual Classroom Assistant to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members. They will be responsible for providing language support to students, assisting with lesson planning and delivery, and contributing to the overall well-being of the school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide language support to students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery, including preparing materials and resources
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of the school community, including supporting students with their emotional and social needs
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members, both verbally and in writing
