Decorative Arts Professional

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess:
- NVQ level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent.
- Full current driving license.
- DBS check.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing decorative arts projects in occupied homes and empty properties.
- Designing and applying various finishes, including paint, wallpaper, and other materials.
Important duties include:
- Identifying and resolving issues related to core trades.
- Maintaining exceptional quality control over all work performed.
- Collaborating with other professionals to provide a comprehensive maintenance service.
- Responding quickly to emergency situations.
- Delivering work efficiently, within budget constraints.
- Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines, risk assessments, and best practices.
- Maintaining all equipment, tools, and facilities in optimal condition.
- Accurately documenting work progress and reporting any challenges.
- Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
Desirable skills and qualifications include:
- Effective communication using phone or PDA.
- Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with clients and residents.
- Completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Practical approach to health and safety.
- Sound judgment in making decisions and finding solutions.
A strong background in Residential Building Regulations and industry best practices is necessary.
This role offers a salary of approximately £39,000 per annum, aligned with industry standards and location.
