Marketing Assistant - Entry Level

Are you a marketing enthusiast looking for an opportunity to kick-start your career? Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation, based in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their in-house Marketing team.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to the Marketing & Business Development team, reporting to the Head of Marketing assisting with a wide range of marketing activities including business development, events, digital marketing, and PR.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with filming and editing videos, as well as creating visually appealing designs for social media using Indesign and Canva.
  2. Upload data into the system for client surveys.
  3. Support in updating the organisation's website and managing social media channels.
  4. Take charge of managing the marketing inbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses to enquiries.
  5. Prepare monthly marketing reports for each department.

Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  2. Experience with design software such as InDesign, Canva is ideal.
  3. Relevant degree or similar within the Marketing field is desirable.
  4. An understanding of data management/office expedience would be desirable.
  5. Numerical competence and a solid grasp of the English language, including spelling, punctuation, and sentence construction.

Training will be provided, but a sound understanding of Indesign and Canva would give you an edge
