About the Role
We are seeking a Commissioning Editor to join our team at Oxford University Press. As a key member of our Revision and Test Practice team, you will be responsible for researching markets and devising resources to meet the needs of students studying and preparing for exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and anticipate how future market and technological changes will impact them
- Work closely with authors, teachers, and experts to develop high-quality resources that support students, teachers, and tutors
- Deliver projects on time and to budget through strong team and project management skills
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing colleagues to identify opportunities for future publishing and develop a take-to-market strategy
About You
We're looking for someone with a strong background in educational publishing, preferably with experience in the revision or home study market. You should have a good understanding of the UK curriculum and the exam landscape, as well as a track record of successfully implementing complex projects that drive growth and revenue.
