Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team in the Immigration Department. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our solicitors with casework, including dealing with a range of Immigration matters, undertaking your own advocacy, and attending clients, taking instructions, and preparing cases.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with Immigration matters and undertaking your own advocacy
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases
  • Deal with correspondence, prepare and manage funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency, and prepare draft documents
  • Prepare applications to meet Home Office requirements, attend conferences and court, and maintain accurate time costing procedures
  • Implement recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews and ensure compliance with file management
Key Skills:
  • Demonstrate passion and experience in a broad range of publicly funded Immigration Law
  • Strong academic background with a Law degree and legal experience as an Immigration Paralegal/Senior Caseworker/Advisor
  • Clear understanding and application of Immigration Laws, business acumen, and the ability to market the Company
  • Excellent communications skills to work effectively with all types of people, analytical and organisational skills, and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance
  • Committed team player, self-motivated, and professional with excellent IT Skills
