We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Animal Health Specialist to join our team at GLG Vets in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional veterinary care and value collaboration within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical care and treatment to a diverse range of animals, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
- Perform routine examinations, surgical procedures, and emergency care as required, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and advances in veterinary medicine.
- Ensure accurate and detailed patient records are maintained, facilitating effective communication among our team members.
- Collaborate closely with experienced veterinary nurses and support staff to deliver seamless patient care and enhance the overall client experience.
- Contribute to a smooth clinic operation during your shifts, optimizing efficiency while upholding our commitment to animal welfare and customer satisfaction.
- Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent), with a strong foundation in clinical sciences and expertise in both routine and emergency veterinary care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as part of a cohesive team, adapting to changing priorities and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in both routine and emergency veterinary settings.
- Ongoing commitment to professional development, staying abreast of industry advancements and best practices.
- A competitive salary package of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
