Job Title: Director of Environmental Sustainability

We are seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Sustainability to join our team at Kenton Black. This role is responsible for overseeing the creation of a safe and healthy work environment for all employees across our Food and Water Testing sites.

The successful candidate will be accountable for developing and implementing comprehensive health, safety, and facilities management strategies that align with company goals and objectives. Additionally, they will create, promote, and uphold policies, procedures, and programs that foster a culture of health and safety throughout the organization.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location for this role is in the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and facilities management strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Create policies, procedures, and programs promoting a culture of health and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and facility regulations at all operational levels.
  • Lead the health and safety team along with the facilities manager.

About You:
As a seasoned professional in health, safety, and facilities management, you will possess excellent leadership and communication skills. You will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies and policies. A strong understanding of UK-specific legislation and regulations is essential for this role.
