Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our bespoke machinery and equipment throughout the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, repairs, breakdowns, installations, and commissioning of equipment.
  • Provide remote access diagnostics and support to customers.
  • Deliver operator training and support to ensure seamless equipment operation.
  • Maintain accurate service records and job reports, including time on site and parts/spares log.
Requirements:
  • Engineering-based qualification, such as HNC/HND.
  • Knowledge of packaging machinery or similar.
  • Electrical knowledge, including fault finding, schematics, wiring, and basic PLC programming skills.
  • Mechanical knowledge, including conveyors, gearing, bearings, and fabrication skills.
  • Valid full UK driving license.
