Job Overview
As a Medical Secretary Team Leader at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to promoting a positive work environment.

With a strong focus on teamwork and communication, you will be responsible for leading the Secretarial Team and delivering exceptional support to the Department and Management Team. Your expertise will be essential in dealing with correspondence, telephone enquiries, and personal messages, requiring you to take accurate and detailed notes.

You will be accountable to the Assistant Service Manager and will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive filing system and ensuring all referrals and test results are received by the appropriate consultant or practitioner within 48 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all referrals and test results are received by the appropriate consultant or practitioner within 48 hours.
  • Deal with incoming mail and distribute for action as appropriate.
  • Maintain a good understanding of standard clerical procedures associated with admissions/appointments.
  • Liaise with other teams as necessary to ensure seamless communication.

Benefits:
