About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selecting and applying occupational therapy assessments for designated caseloads to address occupational performance and skill deficits.
  • Working collaboratively with service users to identify occupational therapy goals as part of the overall care plan within the care programme approach process.
  • Planning and implementing individual and/or group interventions, in collaboration with service users, their families, and colleagues from across the Lambeth Alliance and wider health networks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have considerable post-registration experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a strong understanding of occupational therapy assessments and interventions relevant to client groups. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
