CNC Turner / CNC Setter-Operator Job Opportunity

EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled CNC Turner / CNC Setter-Operator to join their precision engineering team in Tamworth. As a key member of the machining department, you will be responsible for operating and setting CNC Turning machines, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and self-inspecting parts using manual measuring equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience, with the ability to set and operate CNC machines. CNC Turning experience is ideal, but training will be provided. Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens, and Heidenhain control panels is also essential. Experience working with complex parts for precision industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas, etc., is highly desirable.

As a CNC Turner / CNC Setter-Operator, you will have the opportunity to work with challenging and intricate parts, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of EMBS Engineering's growing machining department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and setting CNC Turning machines
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Self-inspecting parts using manual measuring equipment
  • Testing and verifying parts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year CNC machining experience
  • Ability to set and operate CNC machines
  • CNC Turning experience ideal, but training will be provided
