Engineering Team Leader Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Engineering Team Leader to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers to maintain and improve plant and equipment performance, maximizing machine availability and minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production targets.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and food safety requirements.
  • Document shift activities and performance, escalating relevant events as required, and contribute to daily meetings.
Requirements:
  • Hold a mechanical or electrical engineering qualification, ideally at NVQ L3 level.
  • Knowledge of permit systems, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Supervisory experience and practical experience of fault finding on various types of manufacturing machinery.
  • Display PLC awareness and fault finding capabilities.
  • Understand how to maintain engineering systems within a manufacturing environment.
