The Role:

You will teach the WJEC A Level Government and Politics curriculum to our students, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment across both AS and A2 courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons, schemes of work, and assessments that meet the exam board specification and cater to the varied needs of learners.
  • Work collaboratively with the Curriculum Leader and Learning Area Manager to set targets, monitor performance, and improve student outcomes in recruitment, attendance, retention, attainment, and successful completion.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments, subject knowledge, and innovations in teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Possess a relevant degree and hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
