Hygiene Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hygiene Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our hygiene team at a leading food manufacturing site in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of hygiene operatives to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and quality are maintained throughout the facility.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including inspections, audits, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall productivity and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Degree in a relevant field, such as environmental health, public health, or a related discipline.
