Overview: Our secondary school is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Technology teacher to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, promoting a love of food technology and culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons, incorporating practical activities and assessments to measure student progress.
  2. Develop and implement a curriculum that caters to diverse learning needs, ensuring all students have the opportunity to excel in this engaging subject.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation within the department.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in Food Technology.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
  3. Proven experience of teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4, with a passion for inspiring young people and supporting their academic and personal growth.
