Skanska UK Plc is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Services team in London. The successful candidate will be part of our two-year graduate programme, which provides a pathway to develop a complete skill set, developing both technical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Minimise the costs of a project to ensure profitability and risk mitigation
* Build relationships and negotiate with trade contractors and client representatives
* Support the preparation and completion of site measurement and records, day work sheets, labour and plant returns
* Procure trade contract packages, including completing detailed tender analysis and preparation of tender and contract documents
* Assist with the procurement of sub-contract packages
* Work within the projects commercial team and have responsibility in measuring and quantifying works for cost plan validation, completing interim and final account valuations
* Prepare contractual documents including preparing scopes and sub-contract warranties

Requirements:

* Studying towards (in your final year) or having completed a Quantity Surveying degree accredited by the RICS. We will consider applications from other commercially focused or construction qualification backgrounds.
* Starting salary: From £30,000
