Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bathroom Fitter/Installer to join our Planned Works team at Paradigm Housing Group. As a Bathroom Installer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality bathroom installations in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install complete bathrooms, including tiling, flooring, and all relevant fixtures and fittings.
  • Work independently and unsupervised to a high standard in line with industry best practices and health and safety regulations.
  • Complete necessary documentation promptly and accurately as per company procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the work being done.
  • Use materials and tools effectively, reducing waste and maintaining stock levels in the company van.
  • Comply with all health and safety legislation and Paradigm's policies, ensuring safe work environments.
  • Occasionally mentor/supervise less experienced team members.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ2, or equivalent experience in bathroom fitting and general maintenance.
  • Apprentice-trained or significant experience as a Bathroom Fitter, with strong knowledge of building regulations and codes of practice.
  • Ability to carry out bathroom installations, communicating effectively with tenants, and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • A valid full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise work effectively.
