Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Officer to join our successful and established fundraising team for a Christian charity based in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Fundraising Manager in building relationships with major donors and trusts.
  2. Identify and research new potential supporters with the ability to give generously to Christian charities.
  3. Manage a portfolio of donors to solicit gifts for the charity.
  4. Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet income targets.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Major Gifts or Trusts fundraising.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt writing and communication style to suit the audience.
  • Strong IT literacy and knowledge of the MS Office suite of applications.
  • Database experience and knowledge of research and administration methods.
  • A strong Christian Faith, as it is an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary dependent on experience, c£27,000 + benefits, and the opportunity to develop your skills in major donor and trusts fundraising, project management, and analytical skills.
