Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Flood Risk Management Engineer to join our dynamic team.

About the Role
  • Deliver flood risk management projects within budget and schedule, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective flood defense strategies for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Flood Defense Project Management: Lead flood defense projects from appraisal to construction stages, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential flood risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  4. Communication and Reporting: Develop and present clear, concise reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Degree and Professional Certification (e.g., IEng MICE or CEng MICE)
  • Proven experience in flood risk management and civil engineering
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
