Job Overview

To contribute to the delivery of a professional, proactive customer-focused service within the IT Operations Team at the NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administration and coordination using Techshop and the ITSM system, ensuring the planning of hardware and software installations, IT support to customers, and assistance with license requirements.

Main Duties

  • Responsible for the administration of purchasing new IT hardware and software, including processing user requests, creating purchase requisitions, and confirming deliveries.
  • Manage and plan own workload within set parameters, ensuring logistical requirements of IT equipment are maintained for efficient installations.
  • Deliver and install IT equipment with minimal technical setup, such as mice, keyboards, headsets, cameras, monitors, or equipment previously configured by the IT Operations Team.
  • Attend team discussions and meetings to support service delivery.
  • Assist with providing on-job training and supporting SOPs for new starters or current team members to enhance individual and team performance.
