About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Occupational Wellbeing Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our service users to engage in community-based activities that promote positive physical and mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized activity plans to support service users in achieving their goals and improving their overall wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapy team to ensure a seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a person-centered approach.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions and activities that promote social and recreational skills.
  • Assist in the preparation and risk assessment of activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Requirements
  • Care certificate or willingness to undertake a similar qualification.
  • Ability to motivate and engage service users in activities that promote their wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals.
  • Full UK driving license is desirable.
