We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CAMHS Practitioner to join our team in Southwark CAMHS referrals team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in assessing and supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities- Process referrals and conduct initial psychosocial assessments to identify the needs of children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
- Participate in supervision and training to maintain and develop your skills and knowledge.

Requirements- First-level nursing qualification or equivalent with relevant CAMHS experience.
- Post-registration clinical professional development, including CYP-IAPT postgraduate training.
- Experience of working with children and young people with mental health needs, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
- Good working knowledge of mental health disorders in children and adolescents, including key legislation relevant to CAMHS settings.
