Job Title: Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team at Müller UK & Ireland's Droitwich Dairy facility. As a key member of our Chill Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of our high-quality dairy products.

Responsibilities:
  • Pack products into trolleys, ensuring they meet quality standards and highlighting any non-conformities.
  • Transport full and empty trolleys across the chill area.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including asset care and deep cleaning.
  • Adhere to good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
  • Participate in effective handovers between shifts and remain on site until relieved.
  • Complete documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Operate the trolley wash and maintain an adequate supply of trolleys for fillers.
  • Lead by example, promoting behavioral safety and technical standards in line with company values and culture.
  • Carry out tasks requested by coordinators and team leaders.
Müller Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and comply with food safety requirements.
  • Adhere to site quality procedures and maintain chill standards.
  • Take reasonable care for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others.
  • Cooperate with the company to enable compliance with statutory duties.
  • Actively promote and comply with company policies, procedures, and values.

Please note that this role requires working in a chilled environment, but all necessary PPE, including a Hi-Vis coat, will be provided.

Requirements:
  • Previous manual packing experience is desirable but not necessary.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Capability and accountability in your work.
  • A flexible approach to adapt to changing daily production plans.
  • A good listener and communicator.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritization skills.
  • Effective team worker.
